Scion Tomoko & Lohko fabrics and wallcoverings for 2016
Scion Tomoko Fabric
Meaning ‘wisdom’ in Japanese Tomoko is a highly useable collection of small-scale upholstery weaves, drawing its inspiration from the simple shapes and clean lines embodied in Japanese design.
Comprising 4 woven designs over a number of delicious colourways, the collection contains 30 fabrics: versatile and durable, they are suitable for general domestic upholstery.
Scion Lohko Fabric
Lohko, is a retro-contemporary range of printed fabrics and voiles with an assertive, architectural feel. Named after the Finnish word for ‘blocks’, Lohko is a graphic collection, featuring asymmetric motifs, bold slabs of colour and repeating, cut-out geometrics that defy the laws of gravity and proudly break the rules of design.
From oversized, abstract motifs to sophisticated chevrons and Scandi-chic patterns, the collection channels non-conformity, irrepressible energy and measured exuberance. The use of specially-developed slub-textured grounds emphasises Lohko’s abstract quality and highlights repetition within the shapes, whilst its colour palette channels vivid colours with a hint of black, and includes new tones for 2016 of Spice, Paprika and Blush.
A joyful, exuberant and playfully-interpreted collection of fabrics and wallcoverings. The Scandi-inspired fabric and wallpaper designs are complemented by modern geometrics, multi-coloured stripes, textured-look plains and a cheerful stripes-and-circles combination.
At Fabric Gallery & Interiors we have stocked Scion since it was launched by Harlequin in 2011. If you are interested in Scion or other fabrics and wallcoverings please do come and visit us at our Dunnington shop or contact us for samples.
