Freelancer/self-employed with own tools/vehicle sought.
Due to growth in business we need to find the right person to help us provide the finishing touches in our customer’s homes.
You will be an experienced fitter with a good reputation and a professional approach to customer care. As you will be an important ambassador for our business we need to find the right person to help us. Our customers will know you by name so establishing excellent customer relationships are critical to this role.
Work will include; measuring and fitting for poles, tracks, curtains, roman blinds, pelmets, headboards and other soft furnishings needed to complete home interiors. You would mostly be working in our client’s homes but that can also include commercial premises.
We would provide a regular flow of work.
We will train you on our products, our processes and procedures.

Showroom Sales Assistant

Due to continued growth we are looking for a new team member for our Dunnington showroom.
Your attributes
Essential
You will:
- be confident with customers, face to face in our showroom and on the phone
- have an outgoing personality
- be keen to learn and have an adaptable approach to work
- be interested/experienced in interiors (e.g fabrics, curtains, furnishing, design)
- familiarity with desktop PC, internet and email
Desirable
- previous retail/sales experience.
The role
You’ll be responsible for a number of tasks that will help the showroom operate as smoothly as possible.
- You’ll be a front line contact for our customers (particularly those visiting our showroom)
- You’ll be helping customers find the right decor for their home
- You’ll be capturing requirements, preparing and chasing up quotes.
- You’ll be taking and progressing customer orders.
- You’ll be ensuring a high level of customer communication and satisfaction.
- You’ll work with the team to ensure smooth running of a busy shop including making sure that the showroom is always in first class condition and appearance.
Our customers will know you by name so establishing excellent customer relationships are critical to this role.
We will train you on our products, our processes and procedures.
Hours
This is a part time position working within a team covering our opening hours; flexible roster 3-4 days a week between Mon-Sat
